I just picked up the Summer Solstice and have to say it is a great beer...one of my all time favorites. BUT the Winter Wolstice is and will always be my favorite beer ever. Please never change this beer; ever.

I was never a beer drinker until my friends got me to try Winter Solstice. Now I'm a beer drinker, but only this one. Nothing else compares. My wish is that it would be available all year. Summer Solstice doesn't compare (in my opinion. How about AVB? Why cut yourselves out of 6 months of sales of this awesome brew? I'm a "local" and hope the new owners don't do anything to adulterate this heavenly elixer.

I tried Winter Solstice last year....picked it up at my grocery store....and absolutely loved it. I was so excited to get it again this year but it never arrived. I asked the beer/wine steward but they had no clue what I was talking about. I hope it comes back to Seattle....I love it

I'm picking up a subtle, but rich butterscotch taste. Does anyone else get this?

Excellent brew.

Don't ever stop making beer or I will hurt you.

Hi, As a homebrewer, I would love to know how you do it. Tastes like super fresh columbus and centennial wihtout the bitterness. This ale, along with your IPA, has a full bodied, wonderfully sweet but not too sweet flavor. Perfect aroma, head, color, mouthfeel, etc. This is definitely one of the best ales I have ever had that is commercially available. My father-in-law found it for me after I sent him on a wild-goose chase for Pliny on the east coast. He researched and found this and your IPA in NY at a specialty beer store. Thank you, you have a new fan. I owe my father-in-law a big thank you.
