While driving through Mendocino with my folks to go camping we stopped for gas. We asked some locals where we could get a beer, and they couldn’t stop talking about the brewery. Drove over, tried just about everything on the tasting menu, but the double and triple really stood out. I’ve found that a Molly Stones two blocks from my house sells them both, happier days ever since!

Hi, just wanted to agree with the others that your Brother David’s Triple is awesome!

It reminds me of a local brew “exit 4″ series. I like the taste of yours better.

Absolutely delicious. After trying the excellent Triple, I found your Double to be simply amazing: a delicious beer that has a sweet, complicated flavor and wonderful aroma. The muted hoppiness of this this beer compliments the hint of spice. The Double easily surpasses a certain well-known beer by Gulden as my favorite Belgian-style ale.

OK, the Triple is good, the Double is really something special. The flavor is exquisite – it’s so dark and malty, it just transports me when I drink it. I don’t care about the steep price – it’s worth every penny. I love dark beers, and in my extensive quest, Brother David’s Double Style Ale is hands-down the best!

I am especially fond of the ESB and of course the IPA and the Poleeko Gold and the Boont Amber oh what the hell I love ALL of them. But my most recent find and now my new love is the Brother David’s Double Abbey Style Ale. Your writing on the bottle is only too true. It’s as close to heaven as you can get!! I must bow to you for making the best beers I have ever tasted.

My husband and I love your beer. My husband and I had a chance to visit your brewery this summer and tried one of your special brews the double and triple…(I forgot the names). It was the first beer we found in the US that really reminded us of a good Belgium beer. We bought 3 cases and every time we open a bottle we talk about how much fun we had when we visited your brewery.

Hi Folks, I’m enjoying a bottle of Brother David’s Double Abbey-style Ale as I write this email, so please excuse any typo’s! I enjoy quality beers from various brewers every chance I get. I’m familiar with most of your stock brews. I’ve been to your brewery once many years ago, so I know your a quality outfit., but… THIS BREW IS FANTASTIC!!! I told my local beer store that if he keeps stocking this beer, I’ll go BROKE!! He doesn’t have the TRIPLE ALE. Thanks for that, I’d be asking for a loan! Just wanted to say, I’ve never emailed any brewer before about anything, but I HAD to let you know how much I’m enjoying this beer! Brother Davids is the best. I went diving off the coast last week and picked one up on the way home. I will get a few every time I go Abalone diving to have with dinner from now on. Great job and keep up the great work.
